Woman with Golden Retriever

This painting is rooted in familiarity and affection. A woman holding a Golden Retriever — a simple gesture, yet one filled with warmth, trust, and quiet presence. The bond between human and animal has always felt instinctive to me, almost wordless.

In this work, I focused on blending: soft transitions, merging forms, allowing edges to dissolve rather than define. I wanted the figures to feel connected not only emotionally, but visually — as if they belong to the same breath, the same rhythm.

The process was slow and immersive, and I found great joy in that. Blending became a way of lingering, of caring for the image until it felt complete. The outcome feels gentle, grounded, and deeply personal.
