This work was inspired by The Blue Lagoon, a film that left a lasting impression on me through its raw sense of innocence, nature, and unconditioned freedom. I was drawn to the idea of nudity not as provocation, but as liberation—bodies existing without shame, roles, or imposed meaning. I hope viewers feel a quiet sense of freedom and reconnection, both with their own physical presence and with nature itself. I work exclusively in oil paint because of its depth, sensuality, and slow rhythm, which mirrors the intimacy of the subject matter. The style balances abstraction and realism, allowing emotion and instinct to lead rather than strict representation.
