Girl with Rabit

This painting is very personal to me. As a child I was blessed with fantasie (and still am). I could play for hours with my 5 blue rabbit (which in actual fact were little stones). However for me, and still to this day I have 'memories' about this rabbits.

It feels like those "rabbits," even though they were just stones, held so much meaning for me — like they were part of a world only I could see, full of imagination and life. The fact that they’ve stayed with me over time speaks to how deeply connected I was, and still am, to that creative space I created as a child. Fantasie is still a great part of my life and especially in painting. Size 40x30cm.
