Smilla, woman with Anters

Smilla is part of my Antlers series, a body of work created as a protest against femicide. The antlers symbolize strength and the idea of giving women a means of defense—a weapon born from nature rather than violence.

Yet the series also acknowledges a painful truth: antlers alone cannot protect women. Real change can only come when hatred and aggression toward women are confronted and transformed at their source.
