Iris was one of my largest canvases, and at first the blank space felt almost intimidating. But once I began, it was as if something beyond me took over. Painting her became a complete joy. I’m especially captivated by her face and her antlers—they make her one of my absolute favourites.
Because she means so much to me, Iris will only go to a home where she’s cherished with the same love and depth she was created with. She is truly one of a kind.
